Routes and methods of neural stem cells injection in cerebral ischemia

چکیده

Abstract Cerebral ischemia is a serious cerebrovascular disease with the characteristics of high morbidity, disability, and mortality. Currently, stem cell therapy has been extensively applied to wide range diseases, including neurological disorders, autoimmune deficits, other diseases. Transplantation neural cells (NSCs) very promising treatment method, which not only anti‐inflammatory, antiapoptotic, promoting angiogenesis, neurogenesis effects, but also can improve some side effects related thrombolytic therapy. NSCs could exert protective in alleviating cerebral ischemia‐induced brain damage dysfunctions. However, different injection routes doses determine diverse therapeutic efficacy. This review mainly summarizes various methods ischemia, as well proposes existing problems prospects transplantation.

Intravenous injection of neural progenitor cells facilitates angiogenesis after cerebral ischemia

Earlier we demonstrated that the injection of neural progenitor cells (NPCs) has therapeutic potential for the improvement of learning dysfunction after cerebral ischemia. However, it remained to be clarified how transplantation of NPCs can improve ischemia-induced dysfunction. In this study, we examined whether intravenous injection of NPCs after cerebral ischemia could enhance angiogenesis by...

Folic acid stimulates proliferation of transplanted neural stem cells after focal cerebral ischemia in rats.

Folic acid (FA) stimulates neural stem cell (NSC) proliferation in vitro and enhances hippocampal neurogenesis in rats after middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). The effect of FA supplementation on exogenous NSCs transplanted in MCAO rats was observed to determine if FA can stimulate NSC replacement after focal cerebral ischemia. Rats were randomly assigned to 3 groups: MCAO; MCAO and exoge...

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Hyperexpressed Netrin-1 Promoted Neural Stem Cells Migration in Mice after Focal Cerebral Ischemia

Endogenous Netrin-1 (NT-1) protein was significantly increased after cerebral ischemia, which may participate in the repair after transient cerebral ischemic injury. In this work, we explored whether NT-1 can be steadily overexpressed by adeno-associated virus (AAV) and the exogenous NT-1 can promote neural stem cells migration from the subventricular zone (SVZ) region after cerebral ischemia. ...
